Tamil film actor Thala Ajith had a fantastic 2019 after he delivered some back to back hits. Films like Nerkonda Paarvai and Viswasam became the highest grossing films of the year 2019.
Not only that, Ajith also grabbed loads of appreciation from the audience and critics for his performance in his films last year.
After getting all the success with his films, the actor then decided to collaborate with H Vinoth to direct his 60th film Valimai.
Ajith made the announcement to work in Valimai back in December 2019 and the shooting for the film was started as per the schedules.
But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everything got disrupted. At this time, when the country is facing another extension of lockdown, it looks quite impossible for the shooting to get started anytime soon.
At the same time, the crew of Valimai is not sure to commence the shooting of the film at some of the foreign locations as well.
The entire crew was excited for the making of Valimai and had completed over 60% part somewhere in and outside Chennai.
Being one of the Ajith fans, it looked great all the way. Due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, everything was disrupted.
The film is basically a cop drama and is all about bike racing. As per the latest updates, the makers of ‘Valimai’ have now dropped the very thought of commencing the remaining part of the shooting at any foreign location due to Covid-19 pandemic. Valimai is scheduled for a release on Diwali 2020.
