Deepika Padukone reveals how she has to cope up all the way in the making of her upcoming film Chhapaak which is to be released on January 10, 2020.
The actress plays the role of an acid attack survivor and narrates how her depression levels goes bad with the making of this film.
During an interview with one of the renowned journalists Rajiv Masand, Deepika Padukone described how her latest film Chhapaak happened to be the most difficult ones to shoot as she had to go through depression and other mental imbalances.
Well, we can understand how difficult it as for the actress to shoot for the role of an acid survivor.
Deepika later revealed how she broke down at times during the shoot and at the film’s trailer launch. Chhapaak is all about the story of an acid survivor Laxmi. The film is directed by Meghana Gulzar.
Deepika narrated all those instances about filming for the film. She said that she had to bring her own counsellor on the sets itself to cope up with the kind of mental trauma that she had to go through.
Deepika said, “The entire set of emotions started coming out of me and it looked like as if I’m tired or it is the long working hours that I’m unable to cope up with. Very soon, the entire thing got really bad and further gave me a feeling of being claustrophobic. To consistently shoot for the film looked so bad for me day by day. Even if I think about those days, I feel hurt about the same..”
