In the recent interaction with the media, Vince Vaughn speaks about leading the cast of comedy film Nonnas.
The latest from the world of Hollywood is that Vince Vaughn will lead the cast of Nonnas.
Vince Vaughn who’s a 53 year old actor is keen to star in the upcoming film from director Stephen Chbosky that almost wrapped up the production last month.
Apart from Vince Vaughn, others who join the film include the names like Brenda Vaccaro, Talia Shire, Lorraine Bracco, and Susan Sarandon in their respective pivotal roles.
Some other cast members include the names like Campbell Scott, Michael Rispoli, Joe Manganiello, Drea De Matteo, and Linda Cardellini.
Vince Vaughn to Lead the Cast of Comedy Film ‘Nonnas’Let’s have a look at what the film is all about. Well, ‘Nonnas’ revolves around Brooklyn man Joe Scaravella who once realizes that it is a waste of his life leading as a single man in a dead-end job after his mother passes away.
Finally, he decides to open a restaurant because of having no funds and also having no culinary experience in the past. Still, he chooses to open a restaurant after motivating Italian mum’s love of cooking.
The film shows how the nonnas are in a habit of making Sunday dinners every day of the week. It’s for anyone who actually feels at home and Joe finds a new purpose, community and love interest (Cardellini).
It happens after the nonnas and he discover that it’s never too late to start again.
The script of the film has been written by Liz Maccie and will be produced by the 1Community and Fifth Season.
Please note that Vince Vaughn is known to star in a sequel to Dodgeball. It’s a sports comedy released in 2004. It surfaced as a true Underdog Story.
He later explained that he’s cautious about doing follow-ups to his hit movies as he doesn’t like reviving films purely for the sake of it.
This is what he stated, “I’ve had so many movies that I’ve been fortunate with and I never jumped into the sequels for that reason. Because I always felt like if you’re just doing it because you think it’s a way to get an audience, the problem is you’re not going to feel good on the other side of it. So we’ve waited and I’m sure one of them will make sense, there’s some continuation that will work.”
