As per the latest Bollywood news, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to play the character of the real life hero in his biopic. He is none other than the famous cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan.
Even from the time when the biopic on the life of Muttiah Muralitharan was being analysed, Vijay happened to be the first choice of the makers. Even today, he is the first choice to play the lead role in the biopic.
But there were few people who didn’t want him to play the role. But the latest reports in this regard say that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the role of an antagonist in the upcoming movie Master.
Currently, the film has reached into the post production stage and Vijay will be seen playing the role of an antagonist which is scheduled to be released in the month of April. Mp4moviez
Right from the start, the makers of “Master” were keen to produce a film on the life of Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan.
The name of Vijay Sethupathi was finalised long before the project was started. But there were some who didn’t like Vijay to take part in the lead role in the biopic.
Amid speculation, there was a time in the past that led us believe that the film might get the services of Vijay Sethupathi to play the role of Muralitharan in his upcoming biopic. Tamil movie download
But it is not clear when Vijay starts shooting for the film as he is busy shooting for his current assignments.
It’s being reported that all the lead stars in the film are to be given an exclusive training sessions where they will be taught how to play cricket. Well, this is quite required in order to assimilate into the character. Mp4moviez
Apart from that, it is also being reported that the makers have changed the name of the film from Master to “800” as the cricketer has managed to grab the 800 wickets in his test cricket career.
In the Test Cricket format, Muralitharan happens to be the only player who has taken 800 wickets. The biopic on the life of this player is expected to release in April.
