Today, the gaming industry has become so vast that different players intend to join and maximize their revenue. In the past we have seen how games like Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs have become successful.

It’s now being reported that Ubisoft is currently planning to launch a game which is set in the galaxy, far away.

The studio announced that they will produce an open-world video game which will be set in the Stars Wars Universe. It will be produced by the Massive Entertainment which is the Swedish Partner of Ubisoft.

Even though, Ubisoft has announced the launching of the game, the studio didn’t reveal more details about the same like when it will be launched and the platform it will be available. At the same time, it’s also a surprise of which Star Wars universe it’s going to explore.

But one thing for sure, the game will be developed using Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine which is counted among the best. It’s also known to be the tech behind the famous ‘The Division’ series.

Since many established players continue to join the gaming industry, Disney decided to rebrand its gaming unit to Lucasfilm Games.

And now, they call it as ‘a new era’. Well, the company has since then announced many Star Wars games including Machine Games from Bethesda studio.

If you look in the past, EA happened to be the sole brain behind so many famous Star Wars titles that resulted in the birth of several mind blowing games like open-world adventure Jedi: Fallen Order, Squadrons and Battlefront reboots (to name a few).

As per Disney, the company will continue to build the long lasting relationship even when some other developers continue to work on Star Wars games.

And this is what the VP of Lucasfilm Games, Douglas Reilly has to say, “We’re really proud of the games we have created with EA,” “We will continue working with them and our relationship has never been stronger.

While we may not have a lot of details to share at the moment, we’ve got a number of projects underway with the talented teams at EA.”
