The latest data from Box Office Mojo shows the film made $9.2 million in its fourth weekend, ranking #4 in the domestic market.

Monday’s earnings increased by 29.3% over last week to $2.4 million. This brings The New Avengers’ total domestic gross to $173.8 million.

Now, the domestic box office total of Thunderbolts has officially passed that of Eternals, which earned $164.87 million in the US in 2021.

The New Avengers is now on track to exceed the North American collections of Captain America: The First Avenger, Chris Evans’ MCU debut, which made $176.65 million. It is just $3 million short of this milestone.

The New Avengers Surpasses a Significant International Milestone

Thunderbolts collected $5.6 million overseas during its fourth weekend, marking a 64.3% decrease from last weekend. The MCU film’s worldwide total has now hit $181.7 million.

The domestic gross of $173.8 million helped Thunderbolts cross the $350 million worldwide threshold. Its cumulative global box office now stands at $355.5 million.

Due to strong competition from new releases, Thunderbolts is unlikely to cross the $400 million worldwide milestone. The MCU flick is expected to finish its run with global earnings between $380 and $390 million. It was launched on May 2.
