The Raja Saab Box Office

Book My Show has listed The Raja Saab for a September release. With its arrival, there’s growing curiosity about whether the film can surpass the only existing opening day record held by a Bollywood movie

Prabhas is gearing up for a major box office release including The Raja Saab, Salaar 2, and the next instalment of Kalki 2898 AD.

The first to hit theatres will be the romantic horror comedy The Raja Saab, which is poised to hit the big screens on September 2, 2025.

Tiger Shroff VS Prabhas

Prabhas’s film, directed by Maruthi, is set to release just ahead of Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4, which is scheduled for September 5, 2025. Since Prabhas’s movie hits theatres two days earlier, its opening day box office collection shouldn’t be impacted by the clash.

Prabhas’s Incredible Box Office Opening

If The Raja Saab opens with a net collection of around 76 crore in India on its release day, Prabhas will secure two remarkable opening day records. In doing so, he’ll rewrite history at the Indian box office with an unprecedented performance.

Is The Raja Saab Poised to Dismantle Bollywood’s Stronghold?

Should The Raja Saab earn over 75 crore on day one, it will push Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster, out of the top 10 highest Indian opening day grossers.

At the moment, Jawan stands as the only Hindi film on that list, while the rest are led by South Indian cinema, with Adipurush being the only bilingual entry.

Prabhas Right on Track to Claim 6 Positions In the Top 10

If The Raja Saab opens with under 100 crore, Prabhas will still secure another spot among the top 10 biggest opening day grossers in Indian cinema. This would mark his sixth film to make it onto that prestigious list—an incredible feat at the box office.

Take a look at the top 10 highest opening day grossers in the history of Indian cinema.

  • Jawan: 75 crore
  • Devara: 83 crore
  • Saaho: 88 crore
  • Adipurush: 89 crore
  • Salaar: 92 crore
  • Kalki 2898 AD: 93 crore
  • Baahubali 2: 121 crore
  • RRR: 134 crore
  • Pushpa 2: 179.52 crore
