Tamannaah Says Beauty Shouldn’t Be Matched With the Idea of Being Fair

Tamannaah Bhatia is one of the most successful actresses of the South.

The actress has been quite active on social media, especially when lockdown due to COVID-19 came into the existence.

Apart from this, the actress also likes to hear some good scripts in her past time.

But she was specifically trolled on social media platform for being insensitive towards the most popular #BlackLivesMatter campaign.

Tamannaah was speaking to Chennai Times where she explained her intentions behind her post. She also narrated the reason why she doesn’t like considering the skin color to be the sole factor of analyzing a beauty. 

In her statement given to the media house, she elaborated the fact that she doesn’t endorse any of the fairness creams because she doesn’t connect beauty with the skin texture.

This is what she has to say, “Beauty has nothing to do with color. Even saying that being fair is also a certain kind of racism only. It is just that color is not the barometer of anything.” She added.

Later in her interview given to Chennai Times, she maintained the fact that she never asked for a specific amount from the producers.
