In the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, it’s not so easy to overcome all the problems or issues coming in.
Not only those who are unable to meet with their family members are scared and are in trouble, those who are currently offshore are also willing to come back to the country as soon as possible.
After trying for days, the actress finally approached to the Indian authorities for help. Soundarya Sharma has been staying in the US even before the COVID-19 pandemic. She now wants to come back to the country.
Soundarya has now approached to the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian embassy along with 400 students who are currently stranded in the country and want to come back to India.
This is what the actress shared, “These are challenging times for everyone, but my heart goes to hundreds of students including other fellow Indians who are stuck here, without proper accommodation and resources,” Soundarya said.
She further added, “I have been writing to the Indian Embassy and the Ministry of External Affairs for evacuation assistance however there has been no positive response nor any assistance to Indians who have been unable to meet their ends here.”
Soundarya Sharma who is a noted Bollywood actress was last featured in the film titled Ranchi Diaries. She now hopes to be evacuated to India as soon as possible.
Soundarya was actually in the US for the last some time to attend the highly prestigious acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
This is what the actress wrote to the Indian authorities, “I would humbly request the Indian embassy and the MEA for a stimulus package for all those students and fellow Indians who are stuck here to help overcome this situation and hopefully arrange an evacuation flight back to India,” she said.
