Sooraj Pancholi Reflects On Kesari Veer: “I Take Pride In Holding My Ground Despite Challenges”

This is what Sooraj Pancholi told Filmygyan, “I’ve learned that good things take time, and I’ve accepted that patiently instead of rushing. I waited for a film that could highlight my real acting ability and earn me respect from the viewers.”

With his debut in Hero in 2015 and prior behind-the-scenes work on Ek Tha Tiger, Sooraj’s film career has been somewhat inconsistent. Yet, he sees Kesari Veer as a potential breakthrough. “I didn’t want to miss out on this. Playing a warrior and embracing such a complex character is something I’ve always aspired to,” he explained.

Sooraj spoke about how his mother Zarina Wahab’s advice helped him through the ups and downs of showbiz. “She said, ‘Film life is different; keep your head low and let your work speak.’ That wisdom has been my anchor.” He also shared, “After visiting Somnath temple, I was offered Kesari Veer. It felt like a meaningful blessing at this stage in my life.”

The cast of Kesari Veer includes Akanksha Sharma, Vivek Oberoi, and Suniel Shetty, marking Sooraj’s debut alongside these actors.

The film honors the valor of forgotten warriors, blending intense action with rich historical elements.

The film Kesari Veer will premiere in cinemas globally on May 23, distributed by Panorama Studios.
