On the prestigious occasion of UK-India Week 2023, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor was invited among others. The invitation was sent from UK PM Rishi Sunak.
Sonam Kapoor is currently living in London along with his husband Anand Ahuja along with thier son Vayu. The actress attended the invitation representing India.
On the previous occasion, Sonam was invited by King Charles III’s coronation concert where she got a chance to deliver spoken word performance.
The Bollywood actress attended the reception at PM’s official residence on 10 Downing Street. The core reason of celebration was India Global Forum’s flagship event UK-India week. It’s to be held from June 26-30 in London.
At the reception, Sonam not only talked about India but also narrated India’s cultural influence.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor is all set to make her digital debut by starring in a crime drama titled Blind. The makers will soon drop it on Jio Cinema on July 7.
‘Blind’ has been directed by Shome Makhija starring Shubham Saraf, Lilette Dubey, Vinay Pathak, and Purab Kohli in their lead roles.
