As per a Peeping Moon report, a source disclosed, “Sidharth and Junglee Pictures have been engaged in discussions for several months, primarily exploring two film projects—one directed by Meghna Gulzar and the other by Jeethu Joseph, known for the successful Malayalam film franchise, Drishyam. However, Sid has not committed to them yet, as the discussions are ongoing. Depending on the progress of these talks, he may choose to pursue one of them or potentially agree to both.”

As usual, Meghna Gulzar’s project is inspired by a true story, while Jeethu Joseph’s revolves around a courageous law enforcement officer embarking on a quest for justice in a high-stakes international case. Both films are targeting a production start in 2024.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra’s next theatrical release is “Yodha,” slated for an April 2024 premiere. Alongside this and his web series, he’s reportedly signed on for Dinesh Vijan’s “Spider” with Janhvi Kapoor, an action thriller directed by Tushar Jalota of “Dasvi” fame, set to begin filming in January 2024.
