The recent unveiling of filmmaker Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa teaser has been met with a positive reception.
The action-packed rural drama stars John Abraham and Sharvari in lead roles, depicting a tale set in the heartland of India. The storyline basically integrates social and political undertones, enriching the overall narrative.
Sharvari Spent 2 Months Perfecting Her Command of Rajasthani Dialect In Vedaa
It’s worth to note that Sharvari will be portraying a rural character for the first time in “Vedaa.” Her character hails from Rajasthan, as evident from her use of the Rajasthani dialect in the teaser. This departure from her previous roles in films and advertisements has caught many by surprise.
The actor had specialized training to grab the nuances of the Rajasthani dialect for the movie. It took her a full two months to attain proficiency in the dialect.
It was also disclosed that Sharvari’s coach originates from a rural area in Rajasthan but now resides in Mumbai. This indicates that the actor had the opportunity to learn from a highly skilled practitioner of the language.
Presented by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, “Vedaa” is slated for a theatrical release on July 12, 2024.
Directed by Nikkhil Advani and penned by Aseem Arrora, the film is produced by Zee Studios, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and John Abraham, with Minnakshi Das as the co-producer.
