The drug issue in Bollywood came to the surface after the suspicious death of Sushant Singh Rajput last year in 2020. It became evident after central investigating agency NCB started their probe on the death of the late cine star.

While investigating the case, NCB came to the conclusion that there is a big drug syndicate operating in the film industry which needs to be exposed. Later, many Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar came forward and confessed that it’s actually a big issue in the entire Maharashtra.

As per the latest Bollywood news, Salman Khan’s upcoming film Radhe is all set to release on the coming Thursday. It’s being speculated that Salman Khan has voluntarily offered to remove a lot of scenes that showed the issue of drug abuse.

As per a report published in Times of India, this is what Salman spoke when asked to speak about the issue of drugs in the last one year, “Yeah, it is a very serious issue. And we have tackled it in the film, but we have made the film much before it became big in Maharashtra”.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar accepted that Bollywood is also going through so much of drug abuse just like any other industry. He requested fans to give all the support to them and tackle the issue together.
