Saif Ali Khan (better regarded as Sajid Ali Khan) is a 46 year old Bollywood actor and producer. He’s the son of veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and late cricketer (Nawab Pataudi) Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Saif has been in the film industry for almost three decades. He’s a great actor who has worked in a plethora of enthralling films in his career.
Saif first appeared in films by working under the Yash Chopra banner and enacted in a dazzling drama film – Parampara (1993). Albeit, the movie didn’t do well at the box office (as predicted) but the dashing actor still managed to outperform in another film titled Yeh Dillagi (romantic drama film released in 1994).

He was also felicitated for acting in the drama film- Parineeta and Salaam Namastay (romantic comedy), both released in the year 2005. All these movies helped him establish his own identity as a leading star in the entire Bollywood fraternity.
After he gained much fame on the silver screen, Saif continued to receive appreciation on the wider scale for his apprentice in a plethora of films. For example, a 2006 released English movie titled- Being Cyrus, and then in the film Omkara, a crime film where he played the role based on William Shakespeare’s Supplanter.
Saif Ali Khan was also praised for his work in Kurbaan, a thriller released in 2009 where he played the role of a terrorist. But Saif achieved his career height in 2008 released thriller- Race along with its sequel (released in 2013). Some other films include Love Aaj Kal (2009) and Cocktail, a romantic comedy film released in 2012.
Talking about awards and recognition, Saif received several accolades, including 6 Filmfare awards and one National Award. He also received the Padma Shri from the President of India, which is regarded as the most prestigious award given to a civilian. He was awarded the Padma Shree in the year 2012.

Regarding his personal life, Saif was first married to Amrita Singh and their marriage lasted for 19 years. After this, the star married to Kareena Kapoor. He had 3 children from Amrita Singh and one from Kareena Kapoor. Khan is not just limited to Bollywood but also features occasionally in a number of television shows, stage presenter and performer. He also owns his production company titled Illuminati Films.
