It was on December 9 when RRR director SS Rajamouli had launched the trailer of his period action drama. Since then, the entire star cast of the film including Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Jr NTR remained busy promoting their film.
They chose to promote the film in Hyderabad. It all happened while interacting with media questions, Alia Bhatt showed some exceptional Telugu speaking skills.
She made everybody stunned with her fluency in Telugu language while speaking with the media. The audience would have never expected from the actress
Alia later stated that she got an opportunity to learn Telugu with the help of RRR director SS Rajamouli.
Alia is playing the role of Sita in RRR. She will be the wife of Alluri Sitaram Raj portrayed by Ram Charan. If you look at the RRR trailer, you might not see Ali.
When Alia was asked by a fan how she got to know Telugu language, this is what she had to say, “During the lockdown, I learned to speak Telugu on Zoom calls. I could not meet Rajamouli sir in person, so we tried to use the digital space to interact in the language.”
The actress further stated how she actually learnt the “During the lockdown, I learned to speak Telugu on Zoom calls. Alia then spoke regarding the friendship between Jr NTR and Ram Charan on the sets, “When we were on the sets of RRR, Ram Charan and Jr NTR used to sit and talk only in Telugu.” She said.
The trailer of RRR was first released on December 9. In the film, Ram Charan is essaying the rule of Alluri Sitarama Raju while Jr NTR is portraying the role of Komaram Bheem.
The film stars Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Ajay Devgn in their respective pivotal roles. RRR is expected to release in theaters on January 7, 2022.
