As per the latest Box Office report, Pushpa 2 has grossed Rs 1089.51 crore at the Indian box office after a span of 20 days since its release. The film, which premiered on December 5, earned Rs 14.25 crore on its 3rd Tuesday. The above data is actually based on some early projections.

Pushpa 2 earned an impressive Rs 725.8 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 264.8 crore in its second week. On a global scale, the film has reportedly crossed the Rs 1500 crore mark in total revenue.

It all happened sometime back when Allu Arjun’s home was damaged by protesters in connection with the stampede incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.

The protesters urged the actor to support the victim’s family. In response, the actor’s house has been draped in white sheets and curtains.

The producers of Pushpa 2, Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, extended a Rs 50 lakh donation to the family of the deceased woman.

The donation was made at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad, with Telangana’s Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, present for the gesture.

It all happened on Tuesday, when the actor arrived at the Chikkadpally Police Station in response to a summon issued to him, where he was asked to assist with the ongoing investigation.
