Regarded as the leading and most-viewed event celebrating Asian Pacific and multicultural achievements, the Gold Gala will gather over 600 influential guests to highlight the 2025 A100 List, a carefully chosen group of the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific leaders in culture, set to be revealed on May 1, 2025.

The entire ceremony will feature on-stage tributes to notable honourees, including The event will feature on-stage presentations to celebrated honourees including cast and creators of Moana 2, Megan Thee Stallion, Ang Lee, Pokémon CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, Prabal Gurung, Min Jin Lee, Laufey, Jon M. Chu, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Lee Kiefer, Chuck Aoki, and Paralympians Suni will also be celebrated at the event. The night will include a special musical moment, with singer-songwriter Laufey performing her upcoming single, Silver Lining.

This year’s theme, First Light, reflects the strength and hope that emerge from challenges. It honours those who’ve been the first to break barriers, not just for themselves, but for others who follow in their footsteps.

Guests at the event will be treated to a specially curated dinner by OpenTable, celebrating Filipino cuisine. The menu will be crafted by James Beard Award-winning chef Lord Maynard Llera, the talent behind LA’s popular restaurant, Kuya Lord.

Throughout the evening, attendees will experience a range of thoughtfully designed moments—from signature cocktails by Hennessy and hydration provided by Smartwater, to engaging brand activations from partners like L’Oréal Groupe, Genesis Motor America, and Maybelline.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the acclaimed actor, producer, and New York Times bestselling author, will be the first to receive the Global Vanguard Honour.

This award celebrates her ground-breaking 25-year journey, during which she’s built a powerful bridge between Asian Pacific and Western cultures through her work in both Hindi cinema and Hollywood.

Beyond her screen presence, she’s known for uplifting underrepresented communities and using her global influence—recognized by Time 100 and Forbes’ “Most Powerful Women”—to inspire meaningful change.

The Gala will feature an impressive roster of presenters, including H.E.R., Guillermo Del Toro, Ming-Na Wen, Kelly Marie Tran, and OpenTable CEO Debby Soo. A powerful tribute led by K-pop legends will spotlight the genre’s global impact, along with an exclusive preview of Prime Video’s Lee Soo Man:
