Yes, you heard it right. As per the latest Bollywood news, Priyamani has now replaced none other than Keerthy Suresh in the upcoming film Maidaan.
It’s being directed by Amit Sharma and features Ajay Devgn as the lead actor. He will be essaying the role of the most popular and the former football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
As it was earlier planned, Keerthy was earlier had to play the character of Ajay’s wife in the film.
But as per the sources close to the industry, it was revealed that she opted out herself due to the age difference between the two stars.
More than that, the actress seems to be worried about not becoming stereotyped while doing such kind of roles. And so, she opted out from the movie. However, there is no official confirmation that came to the limelight as of now.
Further to the twist in the story, it looks like Priyamani has just filled in for Keerthy quite comfortably.
The actress recently came into the limelight after getting a critical acclaim featuring opposite Manoj Bajpai in one of the leading web series.
Right now, she has a plethora of upcoming projects in her hands in various languages.
