Please know that the director Sanjay Gupta is yet again trying to showcase his talent in producing an action thriller which is based on true events.

For a very long time, makers were not being able to understand whom to cast in this film opposite John Abraham. Now, as they have finally made it, the shooting for the film will now commence.

Apart from Kajal and John, others starring in this movie will be Samir Soni, who is a noted television star and has been a part of the industry for a very long time now. He was last featured in Tiger Shroff’s Student of the Year 2.

The film not only stars John Abraham and Kajal Aggarwal but many others including Jackie Shroff, Amole Gupte, Rohit Roy, Prateik Babbar, Samir Soni and Gulshan Grover.

This is what Sanjay Gupta has to say to Mumbai Mirror in connection to his upcoming film, “Most of the times, I have seen that my gangster movies also have strong female contenders as well. In this film, the female lead character starts off as John’s girlfriend and then finally became his wife.”

He further said that, “I always intended to work with such an actress who could play the character of a 17 year old colleague girl, a wife along with a strong woman in her 30’s. I have always liked Kajal’s work who has a great appeal and strong screen presence as well. I feel glad that we are collaborating in this film.”

You might be willing to know about the shooting of the film that has actually been started right from the Mahalaxmi temple in Mumbai location.

This was confirmed after director Sanjay Gupta took to his Twitter handle and posted “#Mumbaisaga day 1 won in great style. Glad to see great crew, cast and energy on the sets. It’s definitely going to be special for everyone.”

Bhushan Kumar also came forward to share his own thoughts after sharing a picture on his Twitter account. This is what he chose to caption the picture “The journey of the transformation of Bombay to Mumbai begins as #Mumbaisaga.”

Sanjay Gupta further presented his views in a sole interview with Times Now and said that after making 17 movies in a span of 25 years, I always wanted to offer my audience something better and special. He said “Mumbai Saga happens to be my most ambitious project that needed a producer like Bhushan Kumar and I feel overwhelmed after he put faith in it.”

Mumbai Saga will be released on June 19, 2020.
