Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has recently tied her nuptial knot with Vicky Kaushal. After having her grand wedding celebration, it looks as if she has decided to work for her new assignment. As per an update, Katrina will feature opposite Vijay Sethupathi in her upcoming film titled Merry Christmas.
It’s directed by Sriram Raghavan. The interesting here is that she will be featuring opposite Sethupathi for the first time.
As per the update from Tips Industries, Merry Christmas will be made in association with Matchbox Pictures Pvt. Ltd which is slated to release on December 23, 2022.
After an announcement was made on Saturday about the new project, the film’s shooting has begun in Mumbai. The makers specifically chose the holy occasion of Christmas to formally announce their new project.
Earlier, ‘Merry Christmas’ was scheduled to release on April 15, 2021. But the entire project had to be delayed due to the dreaded COVID-19 crisis in the country. And post Covid, the project had to be delayed due to the non availability of Vijay Sethupathi.
Merry Christmas is going to be a thriller to be produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner Tips.
As per the shooting schedule, the film is to be completed in a span of 30 days and will be of 90 minute duration. The shooting will happen both in Pune and some parts in Mumbai.
