Marilyn Manson is currently facing the charges of assaulting a videographer at the New Hampshire concert held in the year 2019. The above information was reciprocated to Variety by the Gilford, N.H. police chief Anthony Bean Burpee.
Nobody would have expected this to happen. But thanks to 300,000 comments on Facebook and shares that actually forced Manson to at last address his NH warrant.
Mr. Warner’s consent on the warrant will allow the victim to put forth her say in the court with all the valid points in her statement. Her statement in the court will also hold Mr. Warner accountable for his actions.
It was on October 8, 2019 when Manson was issued a warrant. It followed another incident that happened on August 18, 2019 that happened on the bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. This is where he allegedly spat on the videographer.
As per detail, the videographer was actually subcontracted by a NH-based company for covering the concert.
As per the change of events, it was the Gilford Police Department that decided to make the warrant public on May 25 on Facebook. It cited 2 counts of misdemeanor that fall under simply assault. As per the warrant, the alleged assault were not sexual in nature.
In the recent statement issued, it was revealed that Gilford’s prosecutor looks keen to send the warrant to an LAPD detective. He will directly get in touch with Manson’s LA based attorney to arrange for a time to turn himself in.
For now, everybody is expecting this to happen in the time to come. And if this really happens, then Manson won’t be able to avoid the New Hampshire court appearance in the month of August.
It was further revealed that if the videographer is keen to pursue a civil suit, it can be filed separately apart from the criminal proceedings that are already in place. Manson’s lawyer ignored Variety‘s request to make a comment on this.
Apart from these allegations, Manson is also currently facing a federal lawsuit. The allegations accuse him of making sexual assault and violating the federal anti-trafficking law. The above suit was filed by the actress Esmé Bianco.
Earlier, no action was being taken against Manson for any reason. However, the allegations proved a setback for him after so many women came forward in the month of February to raise their voice.
They included Evan Rachel Wood and Bianco who spoke about allegedly enduring sexual and psychological abuse by him.
Although, Manson denied allegations, he was dropped by his agency and manager following these horrible allegations.
