The action thriller Marco, starring Unni Mukundan, has earned over Rs 45 crore at the Indian box office since its release.
As reported by Sacnilk, Haneef Adeni’s direction has brought in Rs 45.75 crore from India over 15 days, with day 15 earnings estimated to exceed Rs 55 lakh.
In 15 days, Marco has earned Rs 79.65 crore globally, with Rs 50.9 crore coming from India. The film has made Rs 28.75 crore overseas, while its Malayalam net box office collections stand at Rs 37.92 crore.
Starring Unni Mukundan, the film is steadily gaining popularity among Hindi audiences, with Rs 5.73 crore earned from the region. On day 15, early estimates suggest the movie grossed Rs 80 lakh.
The movie has made a strong impact in the Telugu market, earning Rs 2.1 crore over three days. With the Tamil version now released, there’s a good chance the overall collections will continue to rise in the coming days.
Marco ran into an issue when its print was leaked on the last day. Unni Mukundan shared a message on Instagram, asking, “Please don’t support pirated movies. We’re powerless in this situation. Only YOU can make a difference by not downloading or watching films online.
In contrast, Tovino Thomas’ thriller Identity recently released in theaters and has already grossed over Rs 3 crore in India.
