The freshly released Indian 2 poster reveals a glimpse into the character of Kamal Haasan who’s playing the role of a police officer.

It marks Siddharth’s second collaboration with director Shankar, following their previous project, “Boys.” The official Lyca Productions page shared the poster on Twitter, and stated, “Team INDIAN-2 extends heartfelt birthday wishes to the versatile SIDDHARTH! The anticipation of fans against “Indian 2” continues to grow as the film boasts an exceptional cast alongside Kamal Haasan and Siddharth.

The actors like Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar bring their talent to the table. SJ Suryah, alongside veteran actors Nedumudi Venu and Kalidas Jayaram, also play significant roles in the movie.

Although, the makers have still not revealed the exact plot details, the report says the film will bring back Senapathy in Indian 2 to fight against corruption. He’s expected to bring his fight with other young artists. Some reports also suggest that the film will also have a guest appearance of Manisha Koirala.

As the film has already got a positive word of mouth from movie goers, it is likely to give a captivating visual treat to the audience. The music part will be handled by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography will be taken care of by R. Rathnavelu and Ravi Varman.

Indian 2 will be released in June 2024.
