Famous Hollywood star Idris Elba starrer film Beast is all set to debut in August 2022. Beast is going to be an upcoming survival thriller and release on August 19, 2022 in the United States region.
The film will be directed by Baltasar Kormakur which will be based on the original concept by Jaime Primak Sullivan.
The script for the upcoming film has been penned by Ryan Engle who was last featured in ‘Rampage’, a film starring Dwayne Johnson.
Regarding the role Elba is going to play in ‘Beast’, it’s being stated that he will be featured as a father of two girls who are in their teen age. Both these girls are traumatized by a peculiar situation as they are being hunted by a huge rouge lion in South Africa (SA).
Elba is known to have played a remarkable role in films in the past like Molly’s Game’, Hobbs & Shaw and Beast of No Nation.
The upcoming film is being jointly produced by James Lopez and Will Packer through their production house Will Packer Productions.
Kormakur is credited to have made films like Adrift, Everest and The Deep, is now producing this film in the association with Bernard Bellew, Sullivan and RVK Studios as executive producers.
At the moment, Elba is waiting for the release of his upcoming film titled ‘The Suicide Squad’.
The antihero movie will feature Peter Capaldi, Jai Courtney, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, John Cena and Margot Robbie which is slated to release this year in the month of August.
