Ian McShane to Come Back As Winston for ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’

There is some great news coming up for all the fans of John Wick series. It’s all about the fact that veteran film actor Ian McShane will be officially joining the 4th installment of action franchise titled John Wick. The upcoming film will star Keanu Reeves.

The film will witness the reprised role of Reeves as John Wick. He will be in the shoes of super asssasin in the upcoming Lionsgate project.

Now, as per the reports, the studio contacted the 78 year old Mcshane and offered him to play the most appreciated role of Winston in the entire film series.

Chad Stahelski who’s directing the film stated, “I couldn’t be happier than to welcome Ian McShane back to ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’. He is not only an amazing actor but is an indispensable collaborator who has helped define the world of John Wick,” he said.

The new installment of ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ will be directed by Stahelski. The script for the same is given by Michael Finch and Shay Hatten.

For this film, Reeves is all set to join the star cast of new comers like Hiroyuki Sanada, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama and Donnie Yen in their respective pivotal roles.

As per the sources, the film is expected to be in theatres for release on May 27, 2022.

Please note that the first ever ‘John Wick’ movie was released in the year 2014. It was followed up by John Wick: Chapter 2′ (2017) and ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum’ (2019). These are known to be the franchise of the original John Wick film.
