Launching its theatrical run on a high note, The Naked Gun, led by Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson managed to grab $1.6 million from Thursday night previews.

Now, with early critical acclaim and ticket sales trending upward, weekend projections surface somewhere between $15 million and $20 million.

The Naked Gun reboot is making waves as it holds a strong place at the box office. The film has been directed by Akiva Schaffer and produced by none other than Seth MacFarlane. The film basically revolves around Liam Neeson who plays the role of the son of Frank Drebin and Paul Walter Hauser as Hocken’s son.

Taking on two major roles this weekend, Pamela Anderson stars in The Naked Gun and provides voice work for The Bad Guys 2. Universal and DreamWorks Animation’s latest sequel is projected to earn nearly $20 million. Thanks to all the loyal fans of the first film, which debuted in 2022.

The Bad Guys 2 reunites audiences with familiar voices from Awkwafina, Marc Maron, and Sam Rockwell. while welcoming Richard Ayoade and Zazie Beetz to the franchise.

The storyline revolves around the reformed gang’s struggle to stay good, but a new villainous team called “The Bad Girls,” featuring Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Brooks, and Maria Bakalova, threatens to pull them back into their old ways.
