Despite its mass-oriented nature, Devara managed to avoid a drop in its second-day earnings, registering a notable 15% increase.
Under the direction of Kortala Siva, the film is now focused on sustaining this growth with a projected rise on Sunday, aiming for a weekend total of Rs. 27 crores.
Initially released with low expectations and minimal marketing, the film’s box office results have come as a welcome surprise for industry analysts.
Should Devara continue to perform well on Monday, it could emerge as a success in the Hindi film landscape. The target is to achieve a total of Rs. 75 crores by the conclusion of its run in theaters.
