Soon after Ranveer Singh completed his shoot in England, the entire film caste returned home to kick start the much awaited Mumbai schedule of the film ’83.
Deepika Padukone, who is featuring as Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Dev has also wrapped up her part of shooting as well.

As per the reports, Deepika moved to a lot of places before finally wrapping up her shooting for Chhapaak in Delhi.
As per the actress, this happens to be one of her special films as the story of this film is all about an acid attack survivor.
Soon after completing the shooting for Chhapaak, she headed to England to shoot Kabir Khan’s ’83.
In ’83 movie, Deepika is playing the role of Romi Dev who is the wife of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. Deepika says she had received all the support from Romi to understand everything precisely, for the sake of her character in the film.
Apart from that Deepika says that Romi Dev is such a nice person who’s full of energy along with being a knowledgeable and intelligent personality.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh will essay the role of former India Captain Kapil Dev.
The film stars Saqib Saleem, Nishant Dahiya, Zakir Hussain, Chirag Patil, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Jatin Sarna, Pankaj Tripathi and others in their respective pivotal roles.
