The cases related to Covid-19 continue to thrash the city as one more tests positive for the dreaded coronavirus.
This time, a Delhi Police head constable was tested positive for the viral infection.
As per a report published on News18, a 44 year old head constable from Rohini area has been tested positive.
He was posted at the IGI airport terminal 3 at the Foreign Regional Registration Office.
His tests were conducted on April 4, 2020 (Saturday) and the reports were out on April 8, 2020 (Wednesday).
After he was tested positive in the test conducted at Baba Sahib Ambedkar Medical College, the information was quickly sent to the department concerned.
Finally, the constable was sent to the quarantine at the LNJP hospital where he is under treatment against the infection from Covid-19.
As a precautionary measure, the entire family of the constable has been placed under quarantine.
