Noted comedian Sidharth Sagar of Comedy Circus has suffered from a relapse and is admitted to a rehab center.
It happened when he had come out of the bad phase of drugs and was doing fine. Sidharth has a long history of taking drugs and was even having treatment for the bipolar disorder.
It was on August 26 when the comedian was found in a bad state by the Mumbai police. After that the police summoned his mother back in Delhi. The comedian was earlier serving to be one of the members of the Zee Comedy Show.
The show is judged by Farah Khan. After his condition deteriorated, he was replaced by Jonny Lever.
As per a news published in a local media, Sidharth’s mother informed police that she actually received a call from the them stating that his condition is not well.
Police said that Sidharth could only remember her number and name. She also stated that none of his friends or well wishers came forward to help him whenever he has got in such a state.
Sidharth Sagar’s mother also stated that his treatment for bipolar disorder was also going on but he quit in between. In the end, she felt that there is something not right due to which these things are happening.
It was only a few years back when Sidharth had accused his mother of withdrawing money from his bank accounts and also keeping him in an asylum.
However, in one of the interviews he gave last year, he credited his mother of supporting him and also getting him out of such a bad phase.
