Comali (2019) proved to be a great entertainer ever since it was released in theatres. All credit goes to the director Pradeep Ranganathan who made his directorial debut with Comali starring Kajal Aggarwal and Jayam Ravi in their lead roles. The film was a complete package as it was filled with romance, comedy along with a social message.
As per the latest update pouring in, Comali director Pradeep Ranganathan is all set to star in his next film. The director has not made any other film after Comali. Well, it now looks that this may be the reason why he didn’t announce any other project after the success of Comali.
As per an update, Ranganathan will play the lead role in his next directorial. Also, the film will be produced under the banner of KE Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green.
As the next project of Ranganathan will cast him as the male lead, this doesn’t mean that he’s making his acting debut. It’s because he had played a cameo role at the climax of his last project, Comali.
As per a news published in Times of India, the film is still in the pre production stage. The makers may take some time to officially announce the project. In the meanwhile, they are busy finalizing everything including the crew and support cast.
There was a rumor earlier that Pradeep Ranganathan will be directing Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming project. But he simply denied them all.
