Channing Tatum is a leading Hollywood star who is in the process of finalizing a deal where he wants to replace Chris Evans.
The report published in collider.com says that Greg Berlanti may come forward to direct Project Artemis starring Scarlett Johansson in the lead role.
As per a report published in Variety, Apple Original Films production is known to have suffered some musical chairs at the time of landing the package for over $100 million.
Right from the film’s inception, Scarlett Johansson has been on the board without any complication.
In the last some time, we all witnessed how Jason Bateman left the project mainly due to some creative differences. And this altered the entire shooting schedule and even forced Evans to move out due to such conflicts.
At the moment, Evans is all set to shoot for Pain Hustlers for Netflix which is a drug drama. At present, plot details are not available.
But it’s known that project is set against the space race with screenplay is expected to come from Rose Gilroy, who’s the daughter of actress René Russo and writer-director Dan Gilroy.
As we just mentioned above, Apple has already purchased Artemis in a whopping $100 million deal where Johansson is expected to work as a producer under These Pictures banner.
In addition to this, both Keenan Flynn and Jonathan Lia are expected to produce alongside Johansson for These Pictures.
Please note that Channing Tatum recently featured in The Lost City and Dog. He’s also in the talks for Pussy Island at MGM. It’s the first deal for Tatum since The Lost City.
