Brendan Fraser is the latest Hollywood star to join the star cast of ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ which is an upcoming crime drama both directed and produced by Martin Scorsese. It’s written by Eric Roth.
Brendan Fraser has joined the ensemble cast of the film among others including Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in their respective pivotal roles.
The film is based on 2017’s upcoming bestseller, and revolves around the story in 1920s Osage Nation murders in Oklahoma where the brutal tragedy of killing native American tribe had taken place.
They were killed one by one. It all happened when the group became rich mainly because of the oil found underneath their land.
The killing of American tribe invited the FBI team to uncover the truth. And so, the investigating agency took up the case in their hands to nail down the culprits involved in the most heinous crime in the history of America.
Fraser is expected to play the role of lawyer WS Hamilton. Well, the above project is being produced by Scorsese for Imperative Entertainment, Apple Studios alongside some other production houses like DiCaprio’s Appian Way Bradley Thomas and Dan Friedkin Productions.
Brendan Fraser is known to have essayed the unforgettable role of headlining the ‘The Mummy’ movie series during 2000s. Now, apart from working in ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ he’s also expected to join the star cast of Max Barkabow’s comedy film ‘Brothers’.
He’s also expected to play his role along side his co stars Glenn Close, Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage in the film which is being produced by Dinklage and Brolin.
Fraser was last seen in a period crime thriller titled ‘No Sudden Move‘. The film was created for HBO Max by Steven Soderbergh and released on July 18, 2021.
He’s expected to work in his next film titled The Whale’ which will be directed by Darren Aronofsky.
