The latest development in the cruise ship drug case is that Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has received a money order of Rs 4,500 to Arthur road prison.

Please note that Aryan Khan is presently lodged in the Arthur Road prison itself. The above update was given by jail superintendent Nitin Waychal on Thursday.

As per the superintendent, the jail authorities have received money order on October 11. The money will obviously take care of his food expenses.

He can make use of this money by purchasing any food item from the jail’s canteen. As per jail rules, a prisoner is allowed to receive money order up to Rs 4,500 for his personal expenses inside the jail.

Yesterday, another development took place according to which Aryan Khan along with other accused in the drug case were shifted from quarantine cell to the general barrack after their individual COVID-19 tests came out to be negative.

As per jail guidelines, a new prisoner is first kept in a quarantine cell until he tests negative in his Covid report. And once the prisoner gets his report negative, he’s usually shifted to the general barrack.

All of them were arrested on October 2 at a cruise ship that was ready to leave Goa from Mumbai. NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) arrested 20 people including 2 Nigerian nationals. They also seized drugs from their captivity.
