Not only this, he has contributed in many other ways in the recent time to protect Indian citizens from the dreaded strains of coronavirus.
After PM Narendra Modi appealed to all the entrepreneurs and other eminent personalities to contribute to the PM’s relief fund, loads of people came forward to raise the fund.

Akshay Kumar contributed a sum of Rs 2 crore that will obviously help safeguard the lives of all those policemen who constantly work hard to safeguard the lives of Indian citizens.
After Akshay Kumar made a contribution of Rs 2 crore towards Mumbai Police, he received the reply from Mumbai police in the form of a tweet that said, “Mumbai Police thanks @akshaykumar for contributing Rs 2 Crore to the Mumbai Police Foundation. Your contribution will go a long way in safeguarding the lives of those who are committed to safeguarding the city – the men and women of Mumbai Police! #MumbaiPoliceFoundation.”
Soon after Akshay Kumar received the reply back from Mumbai Police, he was quick to reply them via his tweet.
This is what he tweeted, “I salute @MumbaiPolice head constables Chandrakant Pendurkar & Sandip Surve, who laid their lives fighting Corona. I have done my duty, I hope you will too. Let’s not forget we are safe and alive because of them.”
Akshay Kumar has loads of projects in his kitty. His next film will be Sooryavanshi where the Bollywood superstar will play the role of a tough cop. The film is to be directed by none other than Rohit Shetty.
