Ajith Kumar urges people not to add ‘Thala’ or any other prefix before his name and he should be called as Ajith, Ajith Kumar or simply AK.
Ajith Kumar is a renowned Tamil movie actor who has given loads of hit films in the past. It seems that he’s annoyed by people calling him ‘Thala’ and using many other prefixes like that. This time he decided to come forward to say a few words regarding that.
The actor decided to send his message through social media platform. He shared a note through his manager Suresh Chandra that says he should be called as Ajith Kumar, Ajith or just AK.
This is what he shared on social media, “To, The Respected members of the Media, public and genuine fans. I henceforth wish to be referred to as Ajith, Ajith Kumar or just AK n not as Thala or any other prefix b4 my name. I sincerely wish you all a beautiful life filled with good health, happiness, success, peace of mind, and contentment forever. Love Ajith (sic),” it said.

The entire controversy actually got started from AR Murugadoss’ film Dheena that gave him the very popular title Thala due to his character was fondly called Thala in the film.
On the work front, Ajith’s upcoming film Valimai is set to hit screens. It’s directed by H Vinoth. The film is expected to release on the occasion of Pongal 2022. It’s produced by Boney Kapoor starring Yogi Babu, Kartikeya Gummakonda and Huma Qureshi in their respective pivotal roles.
