In the recent past, Karan Johar looked all alone, waging a battle against the agitators (right wing party) opposing for a probable ban on his upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘.
Until now, No one of the industry was hardly speaking or coming forward to present his or her views on the much ignited issue.
On the contrary, the agitation is still going on demanding a ban on Diwali release, as it features Fawad Khan, a Pakistani artist / actor working in India.
But now, things have been changing drastically. A small but significant section of the industry, comprising most senior and experienced group of representatives is seen coming out openly in support of Karan Johar.
They’re seen condemning the boycott of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. They are also seen condemning the boycott of people who are working here on a work visa and doing no harm to the country.
At present, all such artists have become the line of fire among the agitators from the right wing as they belong to Pakistan.
A group of Bollywood community who are not in support of the ban have their own view of condemning it as proposed.
They say it’s an entire fall-out of much strained political ties of our government and nothing more than that.
And why should film or filmmakers are only targeted every time anything of that sort happens. We are also the proud citizens of the country, but by banning a film this way will prove nothing.
Not only this, famous film director Anurag Kshyap also came forward in support of the film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ row.
He tweeted against the Prime Minister to explain why he didn’t say sorry after his trip to Pakistan at the same time when the film has been shot.
Bollywood wants an explanation on ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ row from the Prime Minister
Anurag didn’t stop here. He still went ahead asking our Prime Minister for an explanation. He wanted to know why the entire community is being compelled to bear the losses and brunt of this awful situation.
Now, taking a jolt on this, leader of opposition (congress party), Digvijay Singh praised him and his unbelievable courage.
He further tweeted- kudos to you for questioning the Prime Minister on his visit to Pakistan.
Another actress from Swara Bhaskar also joined hands with Karan Johar in condemning the ban of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
She says that I have a doubt on all self proclaimed people who call themselves as true patriots, if they really make any such contribution from their ends to the nation and benefit our soldiers.
In the recent twists of the events, both Alia Bhatt and Sid Malhotra also seen rallying behind Karan Johar.
They say this should not happen at this point of time because the shooting has already been done and now it is ready to be released in theatres. This is highly unfair.
They also said that we are also not discouraging any other ties from them. Alia finally echoed her voice loud by calling the entire row as unfair to films.
