Aditi Rao Hydari received immense praise for her performance in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, with her ‘gajagamini’ walk capturing the internet’s attention. However, she admitted that the recognition didn’t lead to many acting offers.
In a conversation with Farah Khan on her YouTube channel, Aditi revealed that after Heeramandi, she went through a ‘drought’ of roles and chose to use her free time to get married.
What Aditi Stated
In her recent chat with Farah Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari spoke about Heeramandi’s impact. She shared, “With all the love and excitement around Heeramandi, I thought there would be a bauchaar (shower) of incredible opportunities. But then, all of a sudden, I was left wondering, ‘What’s going on?’ It honestly felt like a drought!”
Farah Khan, surprised, asked, “Really? So that’s why you got married?” Aditi laughed and said, “Actually, yes! But honestly, we had to time it right so we could take a break, have the wedding, and then return to work. It was such a fun celebration.
Aditi and actor Siddharth exchanged vows in September last year in a cozy ceremony attended by their closest family and friends.
