The coronavisrus crisis continues to devastate the nation in spite of the country’s population is experiencing a complete lockdown.
Talking about the entertainment world, most film producers have already taken the permission from the government to complete the post production of films that is not expected to take more than 2-3 days.
This is a necessary step taken by the film producers to at least complete their films that are almost complete.
Although, the film industry is experiencing a great fall out due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there seems no respite from this dreaded virus so far.
As per the latest Bollywood news, as many as 84 Tamil movies are expected to release between the months of July to October.
The list basically includes as many as 6 movies from GV Prakash, 4 movies from Prabhu Dheval and 5 movies from Sibiraj.
RK Suresh who happens to be one of the leading South producers recently met with I&B Minister and clarified the situation. This is what he revealed, “We think these many projects have the potential to hit screens (and OTT platforms) after their complete works are done. But the big question is when would theatres be opened? Theatres may not be allowed to function with AC. In such a scenario, we have to wait for a month’s time to see if situation changes in our favour.”
From the above, it is clear that all the pending movies can now be released once the post production work gets completed.
