In terms of box office collection, the horror movie could not succeed registering huge numbers at the box office.

After the film has been released, there are a number of reviews flowing in from various sources, explaining reasons of its poor performance on the opening day.
While some say, it happened due to the lack of a strong script, others say, the actors failed to perform well in the movie.
There are a group of people who feel that the timing of its release was not good.
This is because you do not always expect a horror movie to be released on the occasion of Holi.
It would have been much better if the film would have released on Diwali. And, who knows? It could have collected far more.
Pari box office collection day 2- The film has to do a lot of hard work to be in the race
With the release of Pari, Anushka Sharma is back yet again.
You must have heard about the actress’s recent wedding with cricketer Virat Kohli. But now, it seems that she has decided to face the camera yet again.
Well, discussing about the actress, her last film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal‘ could not perform well at the box office.

As per an estimate, the world wide box office collection of the 2017 romantic comedy was Rs 66.46 crore.
And this is the reason why she must be having some great hopes from Pari.
Pari has been directed by none other than Prosit Roy. The newly released film also stars Rajat Kapoor and Parambrata Chatterjee.
As per the Pari box office collection day 1, the film only managed to collect Rs 4.21 Crores.
Well, this is not something the makers would have been expecting.
By looking at the above figures, we can only hope the film to perform better in the coming days. For now, the figure does not look so encouraging.
As per the industry insider and film distributor, Akshay Rathi, “Pari is quite different and looks interesting to watch.
As per the tradition in Bollywood, most horror films are being produced either by Ram Gopal Verma or Vikram Bhatt.
Also, most of the stories that are depicted in such movies adhere almost to the same story line.
For example, if you look around, you will notice that film 1920 happened to be quite similar to another movie- Haunted, that was again similar to Shaapit.
Now, this is the first time, the top level actors have started appearing in such films. All we can say that it has been one of the audacious attempts by Anushka Sharma.”
Well, another film critic Shubra Gupta has also come forward to pitch against the movie.
As per Shubra, “Anushka is trying to portray the role of Rukhsana, who is seen doing her best as per her capabilities.
The actress cannot be blamed alone for not delivering, as there are some other loopholes that are clearly seen and are responsible for its under performance.
Why Pari has less chances of getting rescued?
The reason why this film has less chances of getting rescued is mainly due to the poor script. Other than that, Parambrata Chatterjee is also seen trying to rescue and holding up the story and at last, happens to be the only one who is left standing.”
One thing that still goes in favor of the film is that it is doing a fair business in West Bengal.
This might be due to the fact that majority of shooting has been taken place there only. The film is opened for a wide release in as many as 118 theaters.
The good news is that the newly released film has been performing well with 100 percent occupancy rates in most multiplexes and single screens across the entire WB (West Bengal).
Time will only tell how things take the shape in future, as far as Anushka Sharma’s Pari is concerned.
