In a surprising twist to Ajith, his latest film Good Bad Ugly has been removed from Netflix after the court’s order.
It all happened after Ilaiyaraaja, who’s a noted music composer decided to move to Madras High Court against Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly.
He represented his case by stating that the makers of the film used as many as three of his compositions without taking his prior permission.
After hearing the case, the courty has finally ordered the production company Maithri Movie Makers to stop releasing the film without the removal of those songs.
After the incident happened, the audience was alerted for the sudden action. It was told that the audience needs to be informed regarding the removal of the film from Netflix.
It created a panic when most moviegoers stated that when they actually search ‘Good Bad Ugly‘ on Netflix, it pops up a message stating “We don’t have this movie.”
‘Good Bad Ugly’ stars Jackie Shroff, Prasanna, Prabhu, Arjun Das, and Trisha Krishnan, in their respective pivotal roles.
How the controversy Created?
It earlier happened in April when Ilaiyaraaja producers received a legal notice where it was mentioed to pay ₹5 crore as a compensation.
It was for using his songs without taking the prior permission. He also ordered them to remove those songs from the film.
The songs which were used in the film include ‘Ilamai Idho Idho’, ‘En Jodi Manja Kuruvi’, and ‘Otta Ruba Tharein’ that were included in the film without taking approval.
