The June 12 premiere of The Traitors on Prime Video is already delivering drama, with tensions erupting between Uorfi Javed and Apoorva Mukhija in the very first episode.
Hosted by Karan Johar, the show has Apoorva’s fans cheering for a moment when Uorfi is forced to face reality.

The first episode of The Traitors featured an emotional moment between Apoorva Mukhija and Uorfi Javed.
Apoorva recounted how she had been feeling mentally low and had cried in solitude for two nights.
When Uorfi asked what was wrong, Apoorva requested silence instead of sharing. “She took offense and claimed she was on a different level,” said Apoorva. “But her mental and physical growth don’t show it. I’d rather not talk to her, and I’m happy that way.”
Sharing her perspective, Uorfi Javed said that Apoorva lacks the maturity to handle things with grace. “She was annoyed post-mission, and I just asked her what was wrong. When she snapped, I told her I didn’t want to be friends with someone like that.
She accused me of making everything about myself, but I know the level I’m on. I won’t let anyone talk down to me, especially someone who’s still finding her place. She needs to understand that I’m her senior and deserves respect.”

Feedback on Reddit suggests Uorfi’s attitude on The Traitors hasn’t gone unnoticed. Many believe Apoorva comes across as more genuine and grounded.
“This diva behavior might have worked elsewhere, but not here,” one user said. “Others on the show are way more established and yet carry themselves with grace, Uorfi should take notes.”
