Clearing up the confusion, actor Vikrant Massey stated that Clive Kunder, who died in the Air India crash, was not his cousin, but a longtime family friend. He appealed for compassion and privacy for the bereaved family.
Vikrant Massey Clarifies
“Clarifying misinformation being circulated, Mr. Clive Kunder, who recently passed, was not my cousin.
Our families are close, but we are not related. I urge everyone to stop spreading false assumptions and let the grieving family find solace,” he mentioned on his Instagram Story.
Vikrant Massey Clears the Air: Clive Kunder Was a Family Friend, Not a Relative
Reacting to the heartbreaking Air India plane crash, Vikrant Massey shared a message on Instagram Stories on Thursday, informing followers that his uncle Clifford Kunder’s son, Clive Kunder, had passed away in the incident.
Well, in a deeply emotional note on Instagram, Vikrant Massey paid tribute to the victims of the Ahmedabad air crash, revealing a personal loss. “It pains even more to know that my uncle lost his son, Clive Kunder, who was the first officer on that tragic flight,” he wrote.
The Air India Boeing 787-8, en route to London, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad. Out of 242 passengers and crew members, only one person survived.
As per protocol, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has begun a formal inquiry, following ICAO guidelines, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu announced.
