As per an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama, Zareen Khan reflected on the key “firsts” in her life, from her debut audition and first job to the early challenges and rejections that shaped her career and personal growth.

Here’s a glimpse into how these milestones have impacted her journey.

A Lasting Connection with Siman Rizvi

Zareen fondly recalled her first best friend, Siman Rizvi. “Her name is Siman Rizvi. She became my first best friend when I moved to Bandra in third grade, and she’s still my friend today,” Zareen shared.

Making Her Debut with Veer

Zareen’s first audition was a pivotal moment in her Bollywood career. Looking back at her audition for Veer (2010), the historical film with Salman Khan, she recalled that the team initially wanted to verify her fluency in English due to a prevalent misunderstanding about her language skills. “People often think I can’t speak Hindi because of how I look,” she noted.

First Drink: A Simple Start with Coffee or Tea

In a humorous moment, Zareen laughed while reminiscing about her first drink, joking that it was as simple as coffee or tea. “Coffee/Tea, hahaha,” she said with a smile.

Zareen shares, “It’s Going to Be An Amazing Day”

Zareen reflects her optimistic perspective by starting each day with a positive affirmation. She shared, “Oh wow! It’s going to be an amazing day.”

Childhood Melodies

Early Days in a Call Center

Zareen’s first job, like many young adults, was a humble start—working in a call center, far from the glamour of Bollywood.

Zareen’s first celebrity meetings were with Karisma Kapoor and Sridevi during her childhood

During her childhood, Zareen Khan had numerous run-ins with Bollywood stars, with her parents often encouraging her to meet them on set.

She fondly remembers meeting Karisma Kapoor during the filming of Jeet and another instance with Sridevi, who appeared in an elaborate look, though the movie’s name slips her memory.
