Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips, also known by another name as The Liver Doc, faced backlash from the fans of Samantha Ruth Prabhu on social media.

It all happened after Samantha had been promoting alternative medical practices, sparking a debate with The Liver Doc.

Amidst their ongoing dispute over their respective claims, Samantha maintains her practices were recommended by her medical team. However, The Liver Doc now accuses these doctors of fraud and has apologized to Samantha for his earlier saying on the topic.

Doctor’s Note Accuses Medical Professionals of Fraudulent Behavior

In the midst of the ongoing debate, it was Dr. Philips who took to social media to criticize two doctors recommended by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, accusing them of fraudulent practices and misleading patients in a detailed post. But after following criticism for singling out Samantha despite her intentions to advocate alternative medicine for those unable to afford conventional treatments, he issued an apology.

“After receiving a plethora of requests to show compassion towards Ms. Samantha, I regret calling her out for promoting misinformation about nebulizing hydrogen peroxide for viral infections,” he explained.

He further stated, “I understand Samantha’s health challenges and apologize if my comments made her feel uncomfortable. My intent was only to challenge those doctors who spread medical misinformation, and not Samantha. Finally, I urge patients with chronic illnesses to rely on evidence-based medical practices.”
