It was in April 2022 when Kesariya song from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra took the social media by storm.
The song was originally launched in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil. No doubt, every version of the song received much applause from the audience.
It’s being said that before the romantic version of the song, Ayan Mukerji had shot a mesmerizing dance number of the track.
Ayan Mukerji Announces the Teaser of Original Version of ‘Kesariya’ Dance Mix
While releasing the dance mix version of the Kesariya song, the director Ayan Mukerji penned a short note that said, “So…Before ‘Kesariya’ became the song we all know and love today, it was… This ! A dancer groovier version of the Song! As you can now see, we even shot it.
Then I realized that the film needed a more romantic version of the Song, the true version of ‘Kesariya’ was created, I pleaded and convinced everyone to reshoot it … and I thought we would never show anyone this earlier version of ‘Kesariya’.” he wrote.
“Kesariya song was shot with Ranbir Kapoor which is different than other songs of the same genre. The song has got a different sort of melody which is being liked by the masses.
The song has been sung by Arijit Singh and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It’s composed by Pritam. Brahmastra starring Ranbir and Alia hit screens on September 9, 2022.
