Shamshera starring Ranbir Kapoor has been cleared by CFBC with UA certificate. The film is directed by Karan Malhotra that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
For a long time, the makers were planning to promote the film as much as they can. And now, we hear that Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the Ranbir Kapoor starrer with a UA certificate.
The film has a runtime of 158.43 minutes that comes out to be 2 hours, 38 minutes, 43 seconds.
The UA certificate will now permit the film for an advanced booking. At this time, when everything seems to be cleared, the makers are expected to commence advance booking before the release of th film.
Shamshera is a high grade film set in the fictitious city of Kaza. It revolves around the story of a warrior tribe which is imprisoned and tortured by an authoritarian general named Shuddh Singh.
The story is all about a man who transforms into a slave. The film later shows how this slave becomes a leader and then a legend for his tribe. This man has no fear in fighting for the justice of his own tribe.
In doing so, he has to fight with anyone who becomes a threat for his tribe, dignity and freedom. This man is Shamshera (Ranbir Kapoor).
The highly adventurous adventure movie was set in the year 1980s in India produced by Aditya Chopra and will hit theatres on July 22, 2022 in different languages like Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
