Thalaivi starring Kangana Rannaut has got a new release date of September 10 to release in theatres.
After getting delayed for several times, the film is finally going to release in theaters next month. Earlier, Thalaivii was scheduled to release on April 23 but had to be postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This is what the actress stated while announcing the new release date, “The story of this iconic personality deserves to be witnessed only on the BIG SCREEN! Pave way, for #Thalaivii as she is all set to make a superstar entry into the world of cinema, yet again, a place where she has always belonged! Thalaivii IN CINEMAS near you on 10th September!”
Vishnu Vardhan who produced the film stated, “Thalaivii has traced an extensive journey with eternal experiences at every turn. As the theatres are reopening across the nation, we are very excited that fans can enjoy the grand experience of the legend’s life on the silver screen. Jayalalithaa has always belonged to the cinema and bringing her story alive on the big screen was the only way to pay homage to this great legend and revolutionary leader.”
The film is based on the life of Jayalalithaa that displays some varied facets of her life. She is known to be the one responsible for changing the politics of Tamil Nadu. J. Jayalalithaa.
With her fine acting skills, she managed to attract a huge audience in her lifetime. She even managed to impress both the critics and audience.
Today, Thalaivii displayed its trailer representing the taste of power, struggle, loss and love.
As soon as the trailer was released, it managed to receive a huge audience. The trailer displayed some 30 years of the life of Jayalalithaa.
As theatres are currently allowed to reopen, producers decided to release the film to release in theatres. More than that, the film was originally made for its grand release in theatres.
Thalaivii is presented by Zee Studios, Karma Media Entertainment and Vibri Motion pictures in association with Sprint films and Gothic Entertainment. It’s produced by Shailesh R Singh and Vishnu Vardhan Induri.
The film is to release worldwide in theatres on September 10, 2021 in various languages like Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
