Tovino Thomas Tests Positive for Covid-19: See Insights

Tovino Thomas is a well recognized face in the Malayalam cinema. He recently featured in Tamil language action comedy titled ‘Maari 2’.

The film is directed by Balaji Mohan starring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi in their pivotal roles. He played the role of Gangadhar Beeja aka Thanatos.

In the recent past, so many celebrities have been tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus. The recent one who fell prey is Tovino Thomas.

Thomas made his film debut from Prabhuvinte Makkal (2012). In his Malayalam film career, he has played so many memorable roles so far.

Owing to the number of cases infected with coronavirus, the actor took to his Twitter account and shared, “Hello. As it turns out, I’ve been tested positive for Covid and is currently in isolation. It was an asymptomatic case, I’m fine and well. So it’s been quarantine time for a couple of days now. A few more days to look forward & long about returning to action & entertaining you all.” (sic)

Well, this looks like quite normal in the present scenario where so many film stars are testing positive for the Covid-19.

On the work front, Tovino Thomas will feature in ‘Minnal Murali’ which is going to be the first Malayalam language superhero film. It’s slated to be released on the occasion of Onam.
